PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay device for adding a coupon issuance function with low cost, a mounting board, a coupon issuance system, a control method for a relay device, and a program.SOLUTION: A relay device connected to an input device, a printer, and a POS terminal includes: a receipt issue control part for outputting a commodity code acquired from the input device to the POS terminal and acquiring receipt print data from the POS terminal to output it to the printer; a coupon issue control part for generating coupon print data corresponding to the receipt print data to output it to the printer; and a time measuring part for measuring current date and time. The coupon issue control part includes: an expiration date information acquisition part for acquiring expiration date information corresponding to the commodity code; a coupon issue period calculation part for calculating a coupon issue period from the expiration date information; a coupon print data generation part for generating coupon print data, when the current date is within the coupon issue period; and a coupon print data output part for outputting the coupon print data to the printer.
