Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigeration system that uses a non-reactive refrigerant and achieves temperatures lower than achievable by conventional refrigerants.SOLUTION: The refrigerant system includes at least one refrigeration cycle that has a mixed component refrigerant free of chlorofluorocarbons, hydrochlorofluorcarbons, fluorocarbons, hydrofluorocarbons, fluoroethers and hydrocarbons, and comprising at least three distinct components selected from a group consisting of Ar, N, Kr, Ne, Xe, He, O, COand NO. The cooling system cools the mixed component refrigerant down to at least 12 K.
