METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DEFOAMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing defoamer having superior defoaming properties (initial defoaming properties and defoaming persistence) and stability (viscosity stability).SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing defoamer is used, which includes: a step (1) of obtaining dissolution liquid by dissolving fatty acid amide (A) while heating and agitating the fatty acid amide (A), base oil (B) that is liquid at 25°C, and crystal shape control agent (C); and a step (2) of precipitating the fatty acid amide by cooling the dissolution liquid to obtain fatty acid amide dispersion liquid. It is preferable that the fatty acid amide (A) is dissolved by heating and agitating some of the base oil (B) that is liquid at 25°C, the fatty acid amide (A), and the crystal shape control agent (C) in the step (1), and the dissolution liquid is put into the reminder of the base oil (B) that is liquid at 25°C while agitating the reminder to obtain the fatty acid amide dispersion liquid in the step (2).
