PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device capable of displaying a recording list including (a) reduced image(s) of (a) recording program(s) even when the reduced image cannot be obtained from an information providing device.SOLUTION: The information display device 10 includes: an information acquisition part 11 for requesting information for list generation indicating an attribute of the recording program to the information providing device 300 and acquiring it; a determination part 12 for determining whether or not the reduced image of the recording program is included in the information for the list generation acquired by the information acquisition part 11; a program acquisition part 13 for requesting the recording program corresponding to the reduced image, when the reduced image is determined as not included by the determination part 12, to the information providing device 300 and acquiring the recording program; a reduced image generation part 14 for generating the reduced image from the recording program acquired by the program acquisition part 13; a list generation part 15 for generating the recording list including an attribute image for displaying the attribute of the recording program indicated by the information for the list generation and the generated reduced image; and a display part 16 for displaying the recording list.
