Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a sign of system shutdown.SOLUTION: A processing device comprises: a first counting part for counting the number of requests for which a server does not respond to a client for a predetermined time, among the requests transmitted from the client to the server; a second counting part for counting the number of requests for which the server responds to the client, among the requests transmitted from the client to the server; and a detecting part for detecting a failure on the basis of the number of requests with no response counted by the first counting part and the number of requests with responses counted by the second counting part.
