FAN FILTER UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan filter unit capable of reducing noise by suppressing structural resistance by reducing resistance of a flow channel in which air flows, with a simple structure.SOLUTION: In this fan filter unit 1 having a housing 2 at an upstream side of a filter 3, and provided with a centrifugal fan 4 in the housing 2, a partitioning plate 10 is disposed below the centrifugal fan 4, and a pathway cross-sectional area C1 of a first opening section which is defined by the centrifugal fan 4 and the partitioning plate 10 and in which the air current in the horizontal direction W immediately after air supply, flows, and a pathway cross-sectional area C2 of a second opening section where the air current flows while changing the direction to the vertical direction Z2 between a wall surface of the housing and an edge part 13 of the partitioning plate 10 by applying the air current to the wall surface of the housing, are determined to be approximately equal to each other.
