A humidifying rotor 50 humidifies air using the water in a water tray 40. A sirocco fan 16 blows the air having been humidified by the humidifying rotor 50 out of a room. A portion of the air having been blown out is taken out as a shunt 13a. By utilizing the blast from the sirocco fan 16, a shunt 13d having been supplied with active species by the streamer discharge unit 18 is supplied to the space Sp1 above the water in the water tray 40, thus the active species are supplied to the space Sp1 above the water tray 40.
