PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a breather chamber without deteriorating the design flexibility of an electric actuator and the and without enlarging an actuator housing.SOLUTION: The actuator housing of the actuator 26 has the base member 31 having an attaching face facing a member to be attached and supporting the output shaft 46, the gear housing 32 for accommodating the worm 45 arranged in the motor shaft and the worm wheel 47 arranged in the output shaft 46 between the base member 31 and the gear housing 32, and the motor housing 39 partitioning the motor chamber between the gear housing and the motor housing, the breather chambers C2, C3 for communicating the inside of the motor chamber to the outside of the actuator housing is formed using the dead space between the part where the gear housing 32 covers the worm 45 and the attaching face of the base member 31, the breather chambers C2, C3 can be formed without enlarging the actuator housing and the design flexibility of the electric actuator is prevented from being deteriorated by the breather chambers C2, C3.
