Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulk charging conveyor which does not require any individual guide member and can freely charge bulks such as coals into a desired portion.SOLUTION: When the bulks are coals, a belt 16 is put on two pulleys 15, and coals on the belt 16 are carried to a rotary end of the belt for dropping and charging into a predetermined portion of a coal tower, if a front cover 18 erected at a rotary end of the belt 16 and at a position ahead in a coal carry direction is opened forward in the coal carry direction by a cover open/close device 20, the coals on the belt 16 are sent forward in the coal carry direction, and if the front cover 18 is closed up to a position perpendicular to the coal carry direction, the coals can be dropped right below the front cover 18. In a state of keeping the front cover 18 opened forward in the coal carry direction, a coal sending position can freely be designated by changing the rotation speed of each pulley 15 by means of the pulley drive motor.
