PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device that can prevent a heat effect on a recording means by controlling heat transfer from a side where a heating means in a transfer passage is provided to a side where the recording means is provided.SOLUTION: A printer 11 include: a placoid transfer passage formation member 31 having heat conductivity and supporting a sheet S transferred along the transfer passage; a first recording head 25 and a second recording head 29 that execute recording on the sheet S in the transfer passage; and a drying device 32 that heats the sheet S either more upstream or downstream than a position where the first recording head 25 and the second recording head 29 are disposed in the transfer passage, wherein the transfer passage formation member 31 is divided into a first guide plate 36 that is positioned where the first recording head 25 and the second recording head 29 are disposed in the transfer passage, and a second guide plate 37 that is positioned where the drying device 32 is disposed.
