Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abrasive tool that removes waviness formed on such a processing surface as a molding surface of a metallic mold for molding an optical part with small dimensions or the like without causing damage on the processing surface.SOLUTION: The abrasive tool 1 includes: a rotary shaft 2 rotating around a shaft core P; and abrasive teeth 3 formed so that a plurality of base ends 3a are continuously provided in the rotary shaft 2 in a circumferential direction of the shaft core P at regular intervals, and also linearly extended in a direction perpendicular to the shaft core P. The interval d defined between the abrasive teeth 3 adjacent to each other satisfies a relation FL/3EI≤d≤L, where L denotes the length of the abrasive tooth 3 in a direction perpendicular to the shaft core P, F denotes a force by which the abrasive teeth 3 are pressed to the processing surface of a workpiece, E denotes the longitudinal elastic coefficient of the abrasive tooth 3, and I denotes the cross sectional secondary moment of the abrasive tooth 3. |
