Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of preserving a catalyst for production of carboxylic acid ester which is obtained by supporting to a carrier, the transition metals and semimetals as active components, and by which the deterioration of the catalyst with time is suppressed, and the catalytic performance just after production is maintained.SOLUTION: The method of preserving the catalyst for production of carboxylic acid ester is characterized by preserving in the environment of 0.01-10.00 kPa oxygen partial pressure, the catalyst for production of carboxylic acid ester which is obtained by supporting to the carrier, the transition metals of groups 8 to 10 in the periodic table and semimetals as active components.
