FAST FILE POSITION SEARCH METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fast file position search method that improves a search speed.SOLUTION: A fast file position search method includes: a step s1 that acquires a parameter; a step s2 that determines a main stream M; a step s3 that calculates an initial value and rounds up A so that A becomes an integral multiple of P; a step s4 that searches for a PTS of a PES in M; a step s5 that executes s6 to s7 when |S-T| is greater than a scheduled value and executes s8 when |S-T| is not greater than the scheduled value; a step of calculating a file position A' after adjustment; a step s6 that returns to s4 when s7S is greater than or equal to T and searches for the PTS of the PES in M and returns to step s5 when s7S is not greater than and equal to T; and a step s8 that searches for a first PES before A when M is a video stream and uses a last searched PES as the file position when M is not the video stream.
