Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric element that has a hole transport layer with excellent hole transport performance and a sufficiently large response boundary face and that has excellent conversion efficiency.SOLUTION: A photoelectric element of this invention comprises a pair of electrodes, an electron transport layer and a hole transport layer sandwiched between the pair of electrodes, and an electrolyte solution. The hole transport layer comprises a first organic compound with an oxidation-reduction portion enabling repeated oxidation-reduction. The electrolyte solution stabilizes a reduction state in the oxidation-reduction portion. The organic compound and the electrolyte solution compose a first gel layer.
