PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign matter filter having lower resistance at the passage of an edible granular material and higher strength even if the granular material with a comparatively large particle size like durum semolina wheat flour is conveyed.SOLUTION: In the foreign matter filter 12 arranged in a flow path of a pneumatic conveying pipe conveying the edible granular material to remove foreign matters contained in the granular material, an outer frame makes an inner-peripheral-side edge of a flat part 14a on the granular material inflow side have a predetermined curved surface, and an outer-peripheral side edge 14c of the flat part on the granular material inflow side, and an inner-peripheral side edge and an outer-peripheral side edge of the flat part on the outflow side respectively have substantially right angles. The width of a cross wall in the flowing direction of the granular material is smaller than that of the outer frame in the flowing direction of the granular material. The cross wall has predetermined curved surfaces on the inflow and outflow sides of the granular material. On each of the inflow and outflow sides of the granular material, the vertex of each of the curved surfaces of the cross wall is positioned inside the position of the flat part of the outer frame in the flowing direction of the granular material.
