Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave oven for the thermal treatment of at least one dental prosthetic material, which does not affect the uniformity of heating and is improved in an aspect of heating cycle.SOLUTION: A microwave oven for the thermal treatment of at least one dental prosthetic material comprises a firing chamber inside which the dental prosthetic material and at least one susceptor which can be rotated by means of a drive motor are disposed. Moreover, the microwave oven comprises a microwave radiation source (30) that indirectly heats the dental prosthetic material with the aid of the susceptor, wherein the susceptor (16) has at least partially microwave shut-off characteristics and the microwave radiation source is arranged below the susceptor (16).
