Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar lighting device which realizes a desired surface luminance distribution even if an arrangement density of light sources according to the arrangement positions of the light sources or intensity difference to the supply power to the light sources are not provided.SOLUTION: An optical sheet part 120 is composed of one or more optical sheets having light transmission properties. The light source part 110 includes a plurality of LEDs 111 arranged on the light source surface opposed to the incident surface of the optical sheet part 120, and emits light toward the incident surface of the optical sheet part 120. A reflection sheet 113 makes the reflection light from the incident surface of the optical sheet part 120 reenter into the incident surface of the optical sheet part 120 by reflection. A diffusion plate 121 of the optical sheet part 120 has a transmittance distribution layer in which a height difference of transmittance is provided between the central part and the periphery part of the diffusion plate 121.
