Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain reduction of manufacturing cost and downsizing of a headlight.SOLUTION: The headlight for vehicle is provided with a light source 11 to emit light, a reflector 10 to reflect light emitted from the light source, a movable shade 13 which is moved between the two positions and shields a part of the light emitted from the light source, and a support body 8 by which the movable shade is supported in free movement; and is further provided with a switching device 18 which has a magnetic body 16 and an electromagnet 17 and moves the movable shade between the two positions. The magnetic body is installed on either the support body or the movable shade, and the electromagnet is installed on the other of the support body or the movable shade.
