Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for specifically, highly sensitively and quickly detecting a microorganism belonging to Chlamydia pneumoniae; to provide an antibody for detection, to be used in the detection thereof; to provide a reagent kit for detection; and to provide a method for producing the antibody for detection, to be used in the detection.SOLUTION: There are provided an antibody against the ribosomal protein of a microorganism belonging to Chlamydia pneumoniae, which antibody reacts specifically with the microorganism; a method for detecting the microorganism in a specimen by using the antibody; a reagent kit for detection, containing the antibody; and a method for producing the antibody. The ribosomal protein is exemplified by Ribosomal Protein L7/L12 protein and is usable in detecting the infection with a microorganism causative of pneumonia.
