Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle, which enables a driver to instantaneously comprehend the current consumption rate of driving energy without giving unreasonable feeling so as to encourage the driver to drive the vehicle in an energy saving conscious manner.SOLUTION: The display device for a vehicle includes an energy consumption display 55 that detects the consumption current of a fuel battery. A graphic displayed in the energy consumption display 55, varies the area and color thereof in response to the detection value of the consumption current. When the vehicle is in an idle stop state, the energy consumption display 55 displays a graphic having different area and color from those of the graphic varying in response to the consumption rate.
