ROLL PAPER PRINTER, AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll paper printer, in which, after the completion of printing data on a first strip of paper, printing data is printed on the subsequent second strip of paper in a roll paper-carrying direction by a predetermined length, and then the roll paper is cut.SOLUTION: The roll paper printer 10 includes: a paper carrying section for carrying a roll paper; a printing section for printing data on the roll paper; a cutter 19a for cutting a strip of paper from the roll paper; and a control section 40. The control section 40 controls performances, in which, after a first strip of paper is printed with printing data, the roll paper is fed forward by a predetermined length or more, then printing data is printed on a second strip of paper while feeding the roll paper backward by a predetermined length, then the roll paper is fed forward, and then the roll paper is cut.
