Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for maintaining freshness capable of securing ability of keeping freshness of fresh products during refrigerated preservation by produced ice without using sea water, and capable of maintaining the freshness of the fresh products for a long period of time.SOLUTION: Electrolysis is performed by an electrolyzed water generator 10 using water being fresh water, and alkaline electrolyzed water is generated. The electrolyzed water is made by an ice maker 20 to obtain electrolyzed water ice. The electrolyzed water and the electrolyzed water ice are stored along with the fresh products 60, and used for refrigerated preservation of the fresh products 60. Thus, oxidation action by oxygen in the fresh products can be suppressed by powerful reduction ability included in the electrolyzed water and the ice in addition to suppression of activity of bacteria leading to rottenness by refrigeration. Development of rottenness accompanying oxidation of cells in the fresh products 60 can be suppressed. The freshness of the fresh products can be maintained for a long period of time, extending a period to eat raw.
