PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable image data to be acquired at a continuous imaging speed set by a user in an imaging device capable of recording on plural recording media.SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises: imaging means 107 for imaging a subject to acquire image data; acceptance means 121 for accepting the setting operation of a continuous imaging speed; storage means 112 for temporarily storing the plural image data; setting means 121 for setting one of plural recording media 123a, 123b as a first recording medium for recording the image data; first determination means 117 for determining whether the accepted continuous imaging speed can be maintained when recording on the set first recording medium the plural image data stored in the storage means 112; and recording control means 116 for dispersing and recording the plural image data on the plural recording media 123a, 123b respectively when the continuous imaging speed is determined to be unable to be maintained. At least one of the plural recording media 123a, 123b is configured to be removable.
