VIDEO SIGNAL PROCESSING DEVICE AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video signal processing device for displaying a three-dimensional display to stably display three-dimensional images when video signals are assigned to a plurality of areas of one screen.SOLUTION: In a video signal processing device, a video generation module converts an input video signal into first and second divided signals to be displayed on first and second areas in one screen. First and second divided signal controllers receive the first and second divided signals, condition the received signals to be used as display signals, and output the conditioned signals to a display unit. The first and second divided signal controllers comprise first and second frame memory groups, which sequentially store divided signals for a plurality of frames. The first divided signal controller receives a determination output indicating whether preparation for outputting left-eye and right-eye video signals most recently input to the first frame memory group is complete or not. In response to the determination output indicating whether preparation for output is complete or not, a memory selection state, which is used to read the left-eye and right-eye video signals from the first and second frame memory groups, is changed.
