Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space stage effect in an indoor illumination system to endow peace and comfort to residents.SOLUTION: The indoor illumination system 1 includes: EL elements 2 installed along a wall face W; a translucent finishing material 3 disposed on a surface of these EL elements 2; and a control part 4 to turn-on control the EL elements 2. According to this constitution, since light by turning-on of the EL elements 2 is irradiated in the room transmitted through the translucent finishing material 3, there is no feeling of existence of the EL elements 2 (light-emitting body) itself, the space stage effect can be demonstrated so that peace and comfort may be endowed to the residents.
