PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hand tool device having higher operational safety and improved usability.SOLUTION: The hand tool device such as a drill, a nail gun, a handheld driving tool, or a rivet gun is disclosed. The hand tool device is configured to include an electronic sensor device for detecting the position and/or a change in position of the handheld tool in space. In a preferred embodiment, the electronic sensor device is connected, in relation to control, to a control unit. The han tool device, the control unit in particular, is configured to include a storage device for storing the position and/or a change in position of the hand tool device and/or acceleration. The electronic sensor device is configured to allow, for example, the control unit to have or execute an actuation inhibition release function and/or an actuation inhibition function in relation to control, a trigger inhibition release function and/or a trigger inhibition function, a transport inhibition release function and/or a transport inhibition function in relation to the transport of a fastening element, a tool activation function and/or a tool deactivation function, an unlocking function and/or a locking function, and the like.
