Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overheat detection adapter capable of reliably detecting an overheated environment and ensuring safety when a patient is exposed to fire or an abnormally overheated environment while inhaling oxygen via a cannula, and capable of being retrofitted to an existing oxygen concentrator, and to provide an oxygen concentrator.SOLUTION: For a cannula 22, the overheat detection adapter 300 mounted on the oxygen concentrator having an oxygen exit unit 15 for supplying concentrated oxygen includes: a body unit provided with a first end part connected with the oxygen exit unit and a second end part connected with the cannula that delivers the concentrated oxygen to a user; an overheat detection unit that detects the overheat of the cannula; an oxygen route 303 that communicates the first end part 303A with the second end part 303B; an oxygen shut-off unit that shuts off the supply of the concentrated oxygen; and a control unit 310 that gives a command to the oxygen shut-off unit to close the oxygen route and shut off the supply of the concentrated oxygen when a temperature detected by the overheat detection unit reaches or exceeds a prescribed temperature. |
