Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide human antibodies that bind to human IL-12 and methods for treating and preventing acute or chronic diseases involving IL-12 using the human anti-IL-12 antibodies.SOLUTION: The invention relates to: human antibodies that specifically bind to human interleukin-12 (hIL-12) and have high affinity for hIL-12 and neutralize hIL-12 activity in vitro and in vivo or the antigen binding portion thereof. There is also provided: nucleic acids, vectors and host cells for expressing the human antibodies; and methods of synthesizing the recombinant human antibodies; and uses for detecting hIL-12 or for inhibiting hIL-12 activity in a human subject suffering from a disorder in which hIL-12 activity is identified.
