Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light oil composition improved in oxidation stability.SOLUTION: The light oil composition comprises 10 mass ppm or lower of sulfur content and 15-35 percents by volume of an aromatic content, based on the total of the composition. The contained amount of monocyclic naphthenobenzenes having the carbon number of 15 or lower is 8.0 percents by ionic strength or lower. Moreover, the ratio of the contained amount (percent by ionic strength) of alkyl benzenes to the contained amount (percent by ionic strength) of the monocyclic naphthenobenzenes having the carbon number of 15 or lower is 1.0 or larger.
