PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-scatter X-ray grid device and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the anti-scatter X-ray grid device (10), and the X-ray grid device (10) manufactured therefrom, includes: a step of providing a substrate (14) that is made of a first material (16) substantially non-absorbent of X-rays and including channels (18) therein; a step (32) of applying a layer second material (34) that is also substantially non-absorbent of X-rays onto a sidewall (20) of the channels (18); and a step of applying a material (42) that is substantially absorbent of X-rays into a portion of the channels (18) so as to define a plurality of X-ray absorbing elements (12).
