IMAGE SCANNING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image scanning device and an image forming device for correcting image data scanned by plural line sensors based on image data of adjacent parts in a predetermined range around the parts to be joined, which are image data from adjacent line sensors so as to acquire image data having smooth joined parts.SOLUTION: Image data of a white reference board are acquired with staggeredly arranged plural line sensors, and image data in a predetermined range are extracted from the parts to be joined. An output level difference of adjacent image data is calculated by using the extracted image data. The output level difference is used as a setting value for uniformly shifting the levels of the image data of the line sensor farther from the line sensor arranged at the center so that the image data corresponds with that of the nearer line sensor. The setting values are sequentially calculated outwardly from the line sensor arranged at the center. Converted image data is acquired based on the setting values when acquiring the image data.
