Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake device in which oscillating operation of a piston upon braking can be performed smoothly.SOLUTION: The driving force of an electric motor 14 rotates a screw 181 and moves a nut 185 in the rotary shaft direction. The nut 185 presses the piston 20 via a pressing member 186 and energizes a first brake pad 21a toward a disk rotor 4. A caliper 131 which receives reactive force from the first brake pad 21a energizes a second brake pad 21b toward the disk rotor 4. A spherical surface 186a is formed on an engagement part with the piston 20 of the pressing member 186 and grease is filled between the spherical surface 186a and abutting part 205 of the piston 20. After braking force to a wheel is released, the electric motor 14 is reversely rotated, the nut 185 is moved in the direction away from the piston 20, the pressing member 186 is made a free state and a gap is formed between the spherical surface 186a and the abutting part 205. |
