Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively and effectively obtain seismic effects in a seismic isolator.SOLUTION: Seismic effects are exhibited by a lower housing 120 and a slider relatively moving right and left when earthquake motion is at a predetermined magnitude or less. An upper housing 140 and the slider do not relatively move in this case. When the earthquake motion is larger than the predetermined magnitude, the upper housing 140 relatively moves right and left with respect to the slider in addition to the relative movement of the lower housing 120 and the slider, thereby exhibiting the seismic effects. Therefore, the seismic isolator 100 of the embodiment can support a wide range of scales of the earthquake motion.
