LOCKING DEVICE FOR FINE SPINNING SPINDLE OR TWISTED YARN SPINDLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device for a fine spinning spindle or a twisted yarn spindle which is not only extremely stable and reliable but also inexpensive to manufacture.SOLUTION: A spindle upper side portion 2 of a fine spinning spindle 1 is rotatably supported in a spindle lower side portion 3. The spindle lower side portion has a flange which can be fixed to a spindle rail. A locking device 12 is attached to the flange, and composed of a holder 14 and a lock flap 15 which is revolvably supported. A first upper side notch 17 for storing the lock flap 15 and a second lower notch 18 for storing fixing means are included in the range of a holder rear wall. The lock flap comprises an assembling element 24, which allows the lock flap to be revolvably fixed in the first upper side notch 17 of the holder.
