Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply install a device for spring assisted pivoting of a flap or door in a vehicle, speedily and reliably.SOLUTION: A method includes: a step of temporarily fixing a connecting rod 7 at a predetemined adjustable position in the vicinity of an installation position C of the flap or door 8; a step of holding the flap or door 8 at an open position B upward than the installation position C or an intermediate position D; a step of arranging the device 16 to the vehicle 11; a step of gradually lowering the flap or door 8 from the open position B or the intermediate position D to the installation position C, which are connected to a hinge lever 9 having the connecting rod 7; and a step of releasing the temporary fixing of the connecting rod 7.
