PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device that includes one support of a recording head for preventing an increase in the number of parts, size and weight of the device, increase in assembling man-hours, and increase in cost, and records data in both directions of the support, thereby preventing reduction in recording efficiency.SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device 1 includes: a recording head 2 which discharges a droplet; a carrying unit 6 which carries a recording medium P to below the recording head; a support unit 3 which reciprocates in a direction along a recording surface of the recording medium, the direction crossing a direction B in which the recording medium is carried by the carrying unit; and a drying unit 5 which dries the droplet applied to the recording medium. The recording heads are provided in a plurality of rows along the carrying direction of the recording medium. The drying unit is moved in the same direction A as the support unit along with the support unit, so that a drying area D1 contains a recording area R1 of the recording head disposed on the uppermost stream in the carrying direction B of the recording medium.
