METHOD FOR MANAGING CUTTING BLADE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for managing a cutting blade which has specifications suited to characteristics of a workpiece and which can be fit to the spindle of a cutting device.SOLUTION: The method for managing the cutting blade comprises: a coloring step of coloring blade cases 78 in a plurality of colors correspondingly to the specifications of a cutting blade 28 and coloring case holders in a plurality of the same colors as those of the colored blade cases; a cutting blade housing step of housing the cutting blade 28 which are matched with specifications in any of the colored blade cases 78; a cutting blade selection step of selecting the cutting blade having specifications matched with characteristics of the workpiece; a case holder arranging step of arranging a case holder 94 having the same color as that of the selected blade case 78 in the cutting device on which the selected cutting blade 28 is mounted; a blade case housing step of housing the blade case 78 having the same color as that of the case holder 94 in the case holder 94; and a cutting blade mounting step of mounting the cutting blade 28 on the spindle of the cutting device.
