NOZZLE FOR VACUUM CLEANER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle for a vacuum cleaner which is improved in rigidity while suppressing enlargement.SOLUTION: The nozzle 1 of the vertical vacuum cleaner 2 includes a nozzle body 4 formed in substantially T-shape with a suction port portion 8 formed long sideways, and a ventilating portion 9 formed with a ventilation passage 12 in a longitudinal direction. A pair of beam-like reinforcement portions 10 are formed to connect a rear part near a side part of the suction port portion 8 and a side part near a rear part of the ventilating portion 9 to the right and left sides of the nozzle body 4. Rigidity can thereby be secured by the beam-like reinforcement portions 10 even if the suction port portion 8 and the ventilating portion 9 are formed thin. Consequently, when the nozzle 1 is used for the vertical vacuum cleaner 2, the vertical vacuum cleaner 2 not only hardly falls down but is hardly damaged even if the nozzle 1 collides against an obstacle regardless of the form of the vacuum cleaner.
