PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the effect of hot gas on the periphery of a switchgear in case an internal short circuit accident occurs, and to solve the problem that a shutter does not operate in such structure as a suction part is closed by the shutter that performs closing operation in conjunction with rising of internal pressure.SOLUTION: A switchgear includes a case 1 equipped with a suction part 16 for taking outside air into an internal space that houses an electric apparatus. As the suction part, a plate-like body 18 is used to which a through hole 18a, that has a form coefficient being larger in fluid energy loss against the exhausting direction than sucking direction, is provided. With this configuration, the energy of hot and high pressure gas is reduced, thereby omitting a movable mechanism of a shutter and the like.
