PROTOCOL CONVERSION SYSTEM, PROTOCOL CONVERTER, iSCSI PROXY AND iSCSI SESSION CONFIGURATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iSCSI configuration method that facilitates a connection between a PC or a server which is equipped with an iSCSI initiator and is connected to a different local address system and an iSCSI storage, and that is capable of largely contributing to distribution of content via the storage.SOLUTION: A MSRP available in a SIP session mode is applied to an iSNS proxy function. A parameter required to establish a TCP connection between iSCSI proxies is sent and received at the request of a MSRP SEND. The TCP connection between the iSCSI proxies by the parameter sent and received, a TCP connection between an iSCSI initiator and the iSCSI proxy and a TCP connection between an iSCSI target and the iSCSI proxy are connected transparently to send and receive an iSCSI PDU between the iSCSI initiator and an iSCSI storage, which is put in a different local address system.
