PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately specify an arbitrary pole on a target measurement waveform, as a search point.SOLUTION: The waveform display device includes a display section 5 by which a spectrum waveform Ws indicating a change in a second parameter relative to a change in a first parameter is displayed within an coordinate plane composed of a first parameter axis and a second parameter axis; and a coordinate detecting section that has a processing section 2 by which a point on a target measurement waveform specified by a specifying operation is specified as a search point Pse and displayed on the display section 5, and that detects, as a specified coordinate Pse, a coordinate on the first parameter axis for a specified position A within the coordinate plane specified by the specifying operation. The processing section 2 performs the process of searching the maximum pole Pmax and minimum pole Pmin for the spectrum waveform Ws displayed on the display section 5. In addition, when inputting the specified coordinate Pse from the coordinate detecting section, the processing section 2 specifies, as the search point Pse, the maximum pole Pmax or minimum pole Pmin in which the coordinate on the first parameter axis for the pole is closest to the specified coordinate Pse.
