Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost as well as place restriction for installation by achieving compactification and to improve the performance of a damper by enhancing rigidity of an attachment part.SOLUTION: A viscoelastic damper 1 with viscoelastic bodies 7 sandwiched between a plurality of steel plates 6 arranged in parallel with one another is provided between an upper beam 3A and a lower beam 3B. The viscoelastic damper 1 comprises five steel plates 6 arranged in parallel with one another and the viscoelastic bodies 7 sandwiched between the steel plates 6, and is secured to both of reinforced-concrete RC stubs 4A, 4B provided on the upper beam 3A and the lower beam 3B respectively so that the steel plates 6 are alternately fixed by rigid connection.
