Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perfluoropolyether, a composition comprising the perfluoropolyether, a process for producing the perfluoropolyether, and a process for improving the thermostability of grease or lubricant.SOLUTION: A composition comprises a perfluoropolyether, which has the formula selected from the group consisting of F(CFO)CF(CF)CFX, XCFCF(CF)O(CFO)pRO(CFO)CF(CF)CFX, XCFCFO(CFO)CF(CF)CFX, (R)(R)CFO(CFO)CF(CF)CFX, and combinations of two or more thereof (wherein X is I or Br; x is a number from 2 to about 100; z is a number from about 5 to about 100; p is a number from 2 to about 50; n is a number from 2 to about 50; a is 1 or 2; each Ris independently a monovalent Cto Cbranched or linear fluoroalkane; and Ris a divalent Cto Cbranched or linear fluoroalkane).
