Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlight control device of a vehicle that can automatically switch an irradiation angle of a headlight of the vehicle to Lo in an urban area.SOLUTION: In the control device 50, the irradiation angle of the headlight 70 is switched to Lo by determining that the vehicle is in the urban area in one of cases: that the speed of the vehicle detected by a vehicle sensor 10 reaches a prescribed speed or lower for a prescribed time or longer, and a curvature radius of a traveling road calculated from an angular speed of the vehicle detected by a yaw rate sensor 20 reaches a prescribed value or lower for the prescribed number of times within a prescribed time; that illuminance around the vehicle detected by an illuminance sensor 30 reaches a prescribed value or higher; that the number of street lights is not smaller than a prescribed value by extracting the street lights, the luminous intensity of a road face and a region having luminous intensity not lower than a prescribed value from an image around the vehicle acquired by an in-vehicle camera 40; and that the luminous intensity of the road face is not lower than a prescribed value or a magnitude of the region is not smaller than a prescribed value.
