BENDING DIE, AND APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AUTOMOTIVE SUSPENSION ARM USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending die having a simple and inexpensive device constitution capable of reducing an installation area of the device, and enabling the automation of manufacturing, and to provide an apparatus and a method for manufacturing an automotive suspension arm using the die.SOLUTION: This bending die 1 to be used in an apparatus for manufacturing the automotive suspension arm for bending a rod-like raw material 20 to manufacture a bent material 21 comprises a lower bending die 2 including a mounting portion 3 for mounting thereon the rod-like raw material 20 and an upper bending die 4 including a pressing portion 5 for vertically pressing the rod-like raw material 20 mounted to the lower bending die 2. The mounting portion 3 and the pressing portion 5 include a lower die contact portion 6 and an upper die contact portion 7 each formed into a shape that fits along the bent shape of the bent material 21 to come in contact with the bent material 21. The lower die contact portion 6 includes, in the middle portion thereof, a groove 8 formed to have a size which allows a moving means to grip the bent material 21 in a noncontact relation with the bent material 21.
