PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical device and a medical system for quickly and easily performing the excision treatment of a site in the airway such as the pharynx and larynx.SOLUTION: The medical device includes: an insertion part which can be inserted from an oral cavity into the airway; a rotation section installed at an end of the insertion part and rotatable around an insertion axis of the insertion part; a recessed part that opens in a direction inclining with respect to the rotary shaft of the rotation section; a suction tube connected in the recessed part for sucking inside the recessed part; and a treatment device insertion conduit which opens in the end and can project a treatment device to excise a living body mucous membrane that exists in the recessed part.
