Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a reduction in friction as well as in oil quantity by using needle bearings instead of conventional slide bearings in a lubrication device for a four-cycle internal combustion engine with two or more cylinders, and attain lower fuel consumption and lower cost of the internal combustion engine by lubricating the bearings, etc. by a method not using an oil pump.SOLUTION: In a lubrication device for an internal combustion engine provided with an oil supply means for a crankshaft supporting bearing 23, a connecting rod large end bearing 25, a connecting rod small end bearing 27 and a camshaft supporting bearing 32, the respective bearings are composed of needle bearings, a conventional oil pump is eliminated, and a method of splashing oil 37 on the bearings through rotation of splashing pieces 36 is adopted as a lubricating method for the oil supply means.
