Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat shield material that can be installed between rafters from both of a roof board side and an indoor side with enhanced workability and of which standing part can be steadily connected to a side face of a rafter, resulting in high heat shielding efficiency.SOLUTION: A heat shield material 1 arranged between parallel extending rafters comprises a plate body part 6 that connects opposed side faces of the rafters mutually, a standing part 8 that is connected to a side face of the rafter with connecting means, a first slit 9 that extends along a boundary between the body part 6 and the standing part 8, and a mutually opposing pair of second slits 10 and 10 that extend from the first slit 9 toward the body part 6 side. An elastically deformable tongue piece 11 surrounded by the first slit 9 and the pair of the second slits 10 and 10 allows a hole part 12 of the body part 6 to be blocked in an openable and closable manner.
