PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conjugated diene polymer which can provide a polymer composition excellent in abrasion resistance.SOLUTION: The conjugated diene polymer is obtained by reacting one end of a conjugated diene polymer having a monomer unit based on a conjugated diene unit and a monomer unit based on a compound represented by formula (1) (wherein Ris a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbyl group; m is 0 or 1; Ris a hydrocarbylene group; A is a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic group) with a compound represented by formula (2) (n is the number of 1-10; R, Rand Rare each a hydrocarbyl group or a hydrocarbyloxy group and at least one of R, Rand Ris the hydrocarbyloxy group; Rand Rare each a hydrocarbyl group which may have a hydrogen atom, a nitrogen atom and/or an oxygen atom, or are bonded to each other to form a hydrocarbylene group which may have a nitrogen atom and/or an oxygen atom, or are united with each other to form one group bonded to a nitrogen atom through a double bond). The content of the monomer unit based on the compound represented by formula (1) is 0.01-20 wt.%.
