RICE COOKING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooking apparatus for improving a rice cooking performance and saving energy.SOLUTION: The rice cooking apparatus includes a pot 1 including an top opening 1a the top of which is open, and is stored in a rice cooker body 3 and is used to put an object to be cooked (not shown), a lid 2 for covering the top opening 1a openably and closably, heating means 5 for heating the pot 1, pot temperature detection means 6 for detecting temperature of the pot 1, input means 9 including rice cooking amount input means 10 for inputting a rice cooking amount cooked by a user, and control means 14 for controlling a heating amount of the pot 1 by the heating means 5 according to an input from the rice cooking amount input means 10. The rice cooking amount is inputted first, thus performing heating suitable for the rice cooking amount from a pre-cooking process and a boil-up process, and hence improving a rice cooking performance and saving energy.
